April is Stress Awareness Month and this year we’re encouraged to #LeadWithLove.

The theme urges us to approach ourselves and others with kindness, compassion and acceptance, no matter the challenges we face. 

At Housing Plus Group, we #LeadWithLove by recognising our amazing colleagues with messages of appreciation. A kind word, a thank you or a bit of encouragement can make a huge difference to someone’s day. In fact, extending a gesture of kindness to someone can even boost your own sense of wellbeing.

Activities Coordinator Jodie 

Jodie has worked hard to encourage a previously quite isolated resident down to activities. Their family commented on how clearly Jodie communicated with the resident and how she gently encouraged her, taking things at the resident’s pace. Jodie, your patience and encouragement has made the world of difference to that resident! 

Multi Skilled Operatives Neil & Brett  

A customer called to thank Neil and Brett. Her next-door neighbour had fallen in the house, and they helped to get into the property and assisted the gentleman until the ambulance arrived. She said they deserve a medal, they have been absolutely fantastic.  

Welfare Benefits Advisor Kerrie  

Thank you Kerrie for your help in going over the forms. It was so reassuring having an expert opinion to make sure we had answered everything correctly and provided all the right evidence. We are so lucky to have access to your fab team. 

Money Matters Team and Office Facilities Building Assistant Angus  

A few thank yous from Lindale Court. A resident would like to thank the wonderful Money Matters team for helping her with a Universal Credit query. I would also like to thank them massively as they helped three tenants with various issues last week. And a huge thank you to Angus for doing the PAT testing here this morning. Team work makes the dream work!! 

People Services Manager Sarah  

We held a recruitment drive for Property Plus on Friday and Sarah was incredibly supportive. Not only was she setting up from 7:15am, she was on hand to offer me and the rest of the team support, words of positivity and useful feedback throughout the day. Thank you for your time Sarah, I really appreciated it. 

Advanced Craft Electrician Neil  

A customer from Ketley Bank called to thank Neil for his exceptional work and how quick and efficient he was in resolving the issue with some of the electrics. She went on to say that our repairs service is Oscar winning and she is always happy to have us visit as we have the ability to complete repairs quickly and efficiently.
