Construction underway on new affordable homes in Shrewsbury 

The homes are being built for Housing Plus Group by Living Space, marking the start of an exciting new partnership. The development will offer a mix of shared ownership and social rent homes, including four one-bedroom maisonettes, two two-bedroom bungalows, 13 two-bedroom houses, 17 three-bedroom houses and two four-bedroom houses in both terraced and semi-detached designs.

Sustainable features such as air source heat pumps, solar panels, and EV charging points will be included – reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating places people are proud to call home. 

Simon Thompson, Director of Development at Housing Plus Group, said: “We are very proud to be working with Living Space to deliver these affordable new homes in Shrewsbury, helping to meet the high demand for housing in the area.

Whilst certain members of the teams have worked together previously prior to The Wrekin Housing Group merging with Housing Plus Group, this development off Cedars Drive represents Living Space’s first project directly with Housing Plus Group.
