Service, Performance and Customer Experience Committee Recruitment Pack

Message from Kevin Morgan, Chair, Service, Performance and Customer Experience Committee

Dear Candidates,

Following our merger in January 2025, we’ve created a new organisation – the Housing Plus Group – which now manages 33,000 homes and employs 2,000 people. This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to grow and improve our services.

We’re looking for two independent members to join our  Service, Performance and Customer Experience Committee (SPaCE). These roles are crucial in helping us deliver on our goals and meet the expectations of our customers.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. They expect excellent repair services, improvements to their homes, safe and secure living environments, and more new homes to be built. Our mission is simple: to provide outstanding services and make a lasting difference in the communities we serve.

As the largest provider of affordable and social housing in Shropshire, Staffordshire, and Telford & Wrekin, we’re committed to delivering real economic benefits and positive change for the people in these areas.

The SPaCE Committee plays a key role in ensuring that our customers’ voices are heard and that their needs are reflected in our services. As a committee member, you’ll help us:

  • Keep customers at the centre of our work.
  • Oversee our strategy for service delivery and performance.
  • Ensure we meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve customer-facing policies.
  • Use customer feedback to improve our services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference. If you’re passionate about improving housing services and want to contribute to the success of a forward-thinking organisation, we’d love to hear from you.

Application details, key contacts, and the recruitment timetable are included at the end of this pack. I look forward to receiving your application.

Kevin Morgan
