Graduation day for HPG apprentices
Housing Plus Group apprentices were among the high-achievers invited to mark the completion of their training at the Stoke and Staffordshire Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony at the County Showground in Stafford.
The graduation recognises the dedication required to combine a demanding vocational qualification with employment.
Proud friends, family members, tutors and colleagues joined the new graduates to celebrate their success.
Interim executive director of Property Andrew Kenny, Group electrical manager Stephen Ujma and early careers manager Penny Johnson were delighted to attend the event, to congratulate Oliver Simmons, Liam Davies, Katie Douglass, Joey Pennick and Pierce Woolley.
“It was a pleasure to be there and to be able to meet some of the family members who have provided so much support and encouragement to our apprentices,” said Andrew Kenny. “I know how hard these graduate apprentices have worked and wish them every success in their continued careers with the Group.”
Apprenticeships are playing a crucial role in growing the economy in Staffordshire and Shropshire, helping leading companies like HPG to grow our own talented and skilled workforce and offering a stepping stone to a great career for ambitious local people keen to earn while they learn.
